Dancing Branches

in the still of the night a car slowly passes

headlights gleam upon sleeping trees, limb silhouettes prance across the window panes

a smile softens her brow

glimmers of joy warms her heart

the mere illusion of dancing branches offers delight to a shadowless night

lovely and divine

this fleeting moment in time
